Proce eds benefit the programs of Alpha Memphis Education Foundation including: Goto HIgh School\, Goto College Goto HIgh School\, Goto C ollege concentrates on the importance of completing secondary and collegia te education as a road to advancement. Statistics prove the value of this extra impetus in making the difference in the success of young African-Ame rican men\, given that school completion is the single best predictor of f uture economic success. Through the Go-to-High-School\, Go-to-College educ ational initiative\, young men receive information and learn strategies th at facilitate success. \; Project Alpha Project Alpha  \;is designed to provide education\, motivation and skill-building on issues of responsibility\, relationships\, teen pregnancy and sexually tr ansmitted diseases for young males ages 12-15 years. Designed to provide y oung men with current and accurate information about teen pregnancy preven tion\, Project Alpha consists of a series of workshops and informational s essions conducted by community leaders Leadership Development Ins titute The Leadership Development Institute (LDI) aims to develop a 21st century generation of leaders. This mission starts with young peopl e\, particularly those who demonstrate the potential to comprehend and app ly the fundamental principles needed by leaders as well as whom\, by virtu e of their age and education\, are often looked upon as role models. Thus\ , the Institute\, which is implemented in five regions\, seeks to equip hi gh school students\, primarily sophomores to seniors\, with vital leadersh ip skills. To this end\, our members who organize and facilitate the regio nal LDIs\, working along with other professionals/experts\, instruct the p articipants in parliamentary procedures\, conflict resolution\, models of leadership\, public speaking\, community and civic engagement\, and educat ional enhancement skills. The 2017 tournament will take place on Satu rday\, June 3\, 2017 at Stone Bridge Golf Course in Lakeland\, TN.  \; The event will begin at 8am.
